Altura Element Vest Base Layer

Summer jerseys are great for keeping cool, but when you do start to sweat during excercise they can tend to stick to your skin and as such cause a rash, discomfort and an impromptu fishing lake in the small of your back.

This is where a decent base layer like the Altura Element comes in. While it does look a bit like it came from the wardrobe of Rab C. Nesbitt it doesn’t really matter as it’s going to be hidden underneath whatever you are wearing on top.

It stops the build up of sweat considerably and allows for better air circulation between your skin and whatever you happen to be wearing. It’s such a great versatile bit of clothing that it can also be used in the winter to improve moisture transfer, but just don’t expect it to keep you particularly warm.
