Brighton based entrepreneur, Emily Brooke, is setting about bring a new product to market to improve safety for cyclists.
Blaze is more than just a light, its a laser projector that displays the image of a cyclist on the road in front of the bike. By increasing the footprint of the cyclist on the road it makes them more visible to other road users, particularly good vehicles, buses and pedestrians. The product is not available just yet, but the inventor is doing a great job in securing the start-up funding she needs to bring it to market.
Its encouraging to see that the views of experts in Driver Psychology are also being sought to help ensure the product lives up to its billing.
