Training

For most of us the only time we ever had cycle training was back at school, probably a cycle proficiency course going around cones in the playground.  Once we had covered the basics and could master cycling without falling off that was it, job done.  If you are coming back to cycling after a few years (or decades) off then there’s a fair chance you might have forgotten all of the advice and sections 59 – 82 of the Highway Code will be a distant memory.

Luckily we are here to help!  There are lots of course being run for adult cyclists and you can usually book yourself on a course close to home to refresh your skills.  Cycling isn’t dangerous but you can certainly make yourself safer on the road by going along to a course and remembering everything you might have forgotten.  Click on the Events Page to see when the next course is available near you.

If you can’t get to a course we will be offering lots of advice on the site including common concerns and how to make youself more visible to drivers.
