When it comes to practicality many cycling shorts can fall down (hopefully not literally) because they have no pockets to put all your stuff in. Not really an issue if you have panniers or a backpack, but if you’re just going out for a quick jaunt some practical, comfortable shorts like these Endura Humvee ones are ideal.
It comes with two large rear pockets ideal for maps, two front zipped pockets ideal for phones/mp3 players and a large Velcro tabbed pocket which is great for a (healthy?) snack.
It also features two side zipped ventilation areas for helping to adjust according to temperature. An added benefit of these shorts is that they have a removable ‘Clickfast’ liner which can be taken out and washed separately.
The shorts themselves look pretty decent which mean they can be worn even when not cycling and you don’t have to turn up at people’s houses looking like a Spandex warrior about to go in the ring with Hulk Hogan. Bonus.
